No Scanner

So I 've been doing stuff in my sketchbook lately.

Shio

I'm totally into this new comic I dea I got going on. Shio is flipping awesome.

But I gotta think of a cooler name.

I'm going to have to work on some kinks. Like his personality. Whether he smiles a lot or not. I haven't made one picture with him smiling. Yet.

I feel like he shouldn't have a mysterious past like every other person that's coming out in video games now. But more of a past he is trying to run away from.

That keeps catching up with him.

I dunno. Regardless, he is pretty cool looking and his weapon will be even cooler.

We'll see. but i'm going to start working on the comic soon. I might have to draw it by hand. then scan it in.

So I wanted to work on some comic stuff today. just working on char design and choosing between two comics. Got my char deisng for SUPER down...

Dont really got to much info on it...

I know the sword the kid uses in this one is going to be modeled after the sword Zero uses in megaman X4...

So yeah...

For some reason I named him Shio (salt)

New Logo

Still working out some basic skills and design...but I fgured i'll name the comic "SUPER!"

Just that...and make it a small series...

If I can do it...we'll see if I can collaborate with someone. this should turn out to be fun...

Now only internet? Or should I print it...hmmm...

I just got ketchbook pro so i'm messing with that...

It's fun and very easy to use and switch tools...I highly suggested it for someone who like susing a tablet but wants that pressure and sensitivty of a 4H or a 2B diff...it's cool...

Inspired by comics

I have never really liked superman. Growing up he was never one of my favs. Again though my generation mainly likes Batman. A human fighting back heck yeah dude!

Why do we need help from aliens.

although my favorite has never always been Bruce Wayne that's what I tell people.

My true favorite is Hal.

Hal Jordan.

A regular man, with problems like everyone else is given a second chance. A huge one. But one none the less.

Anyone who knows me knows i have done my fair share of comics. Or have attempted.

Today I got inspired by a not likely source.

Superman.

I love Grant Morrison great writer.

Yet, a lot of people have been trying lately to make superman more human...

and I love it.

But one of the best selling series (or most watch) was superman during his childhood as clark kent. Which I finished reading about today in All Star Superman. Where he is shrouded in mystery about his past. Yet he presses foward. Kinda like Wolverine except a boy scout.

So I was heavily inspired by Superman today and have been thinking of making a comic for a while. But crossing two ideas.

Weapon X...

And Superman...as a teen of course.

But then where does hal come into play...

My Main Character is going to be someone who finds out about his cowardice life he used to lead...

And tries to make up for it with his new found powers...

Coming along...

I'm working on a new zombie piece for my own personal arting before I get started on some of these other work projects I have picked up...I feel like it's coming a long ok almost done. Maybe 1 or two more sessions lol....now i'm a tatoo artist. got work today. I just wish I could draw all day. but then again that's what im going to school for. Now that I have this set up though itll allow me to work more on the thing I love. and some COMICS!
